Mock Interviews

Grants Pass High School

January 10, 2023; May 16, 2023

Mock interviews were held in person in the GPHS Commons. Interviewers we given a list of questions to ask the students and we asked to grade them on several different aspects. Students were able to ask Jill questions about different scenarios in the workplace. Students interested in possible journalism or broadcasting were given information of internships.

Job Shadow/Work Experience

Students spend the day in studios learning the job of announcer and with the sales team. Joshua Miranda shadowed in May of 2023.

GUEST DJ’s: Available year around

Intern Program: We have an intern program for the general public wishing to learn more about the broadcasting business.

Scholarship Program: Establishment of the Grants Pass Broadcasting Corp Scholarship, a $1,000.00 scholarship, is awarded to a deserving senior graduate of New Hope Christian School. This student must be interested in pursuing a career in Broadcast Journalism.
